ADA Aluminum Storefront Retrofit: 36-Inch Openings Widened to 42 Inches
We upgraded these entrance openings from 36-inch to 42-inch aluminum storefront openings, making them more ADA friendly and cohesive for the tenants of the independent living facility.
Widening an existing entrance means more than a bigger door. The old storefront framing comes out, the opening is reworked, and a new aluminum frame, door and hardware are set plumb and square so the entry closes, latches and seals the way it should.
